The Wine Wire: Paolo Scavino Baroli 2010 – Pre-Sell

Paolo Scavino 2010 Baroli Pre-Offer

It’s that time of year when we see so many offers roll across our desks.

While it has been a while since I posted, I thought I must do my civic duty and let everyone know that the Pre-Arrival Offering for the 2010 Paolo Scavino Baroli just landed on my desk.

Barolo has had a string of really good to outstanding vintages in the past 10 years.  2010 is being hailed by many as one of, if not the most special of them all.  Let’s just say that there is a good reason you should stock up on these if you love Barolo.

I greatly admire, and downright adore the Scavino family.  They are one of the top producers in the region today.

Here is what is available from their line-up.  This is brief, so email me with any questions.

I must have your pre-order by March 21st.  Chances are these will sell out and never reach the shelves!

2010 Scavino Barolo DOCG – $47.99 BTL. / $575.88 CASE OF 12

2010 Scavino Barolo “Carobric” – $76.99 BTL. / $461.94 SIX-PACK CASE

2010 Scavino Barolo “Bricco Ambrogio” – $64.99 Btl. / $389.94 SIX-PACK CASE

2010 Scavino Barolo “Monvigliero” – $64.99 Btl. / $389.94 SIX-PACK CASE

2010 Scavino Barolo “Cannubi” – $99.99 BTL. / $599.94 SIX-PACK CASE

2010 Scavino Barolo “Bric del Fiasc” – $99.99 BTL. / $599.94 SIX-PACK CASE

AND

2008 Scavio Barolo Riserva “Rocche dell’Annunziata” – $173.99 BTL. / $1043.94 SIX-PACK CASE

The Rocche dell’Annunziata bears special mention as I put this in my top 10 of wines produced in Piedmont.  2008 is a spectacular, classic vintage that will go the distance.
