The Wine Wire: Ameztia Irouleguy Rosé

Irouleguy (Ee-Roo-Lay-Gee) is the last French outpost of civilization before the Pyrénees Mountains. This is southwestern France, remote, dry and feral. The vines for this rosé are 40 years old and it is composed of Cabernet Franc & Tannat. It is less delicate than some rosés that hail from further north, and in possession of a nearly blinding, verging on fuchsia color.

2012 Ameztia Irouleguy Rosé- $18.99/BTL.
