The Wine Wire – Cremant de Jura and Two Rosés

It is feeling very Spring-like in the store these days.  Check here weekly for all the new Spring white wines and dry Rosé’s coming in!

NV Montbourgeau Crémant du Jura – $26.99 btl.

One of the best and most delicious Crémant du JuraWe get two shipments a year of this in Illinois each year and it quickly sells out, so grab some today!  A great sparkling wine!

2011 Soucherie Rosé de Loire “L”Astrée” – $17.99 btl.

Wow, always one of my favorite delicate Cabernet Franc-based Rosé!  Soucherie is a standout producer in the Loire and “Cuvée l’Astrée” is about as thirst quenching as it gets.

2011 Fenouillet Côtes de Ventoux Rosé – $14.99 btl.
Didn’t know that a Rosé could show a lot of mineral notes?  Try this excellent example from the Côtse du Ventoux.  Delicate strawberry, mineral and herbs leap from the glass!
