Listen up. When we say there is a revolution in the Pays Nantais, we mean it! And we don’t mean the kind of revolution where you have to kill your own food, wear camouflage, brandish guns and keep prisoners hidden in the jungle for 16 years (yeah Colombia, we are talking about you!). This is a nicer sort of revolution where people clean up the vineyards and start making delicious wines that are affordable.
Jo Landron of Domaine de la Louvetrie is now making this wonderful, value driven, champagne method sparkler he calls “Atmosphères”. It is made with Folle Blanche and Pinot Noir grapes, and all the vineyards are farmed bio-dynamically.
