Goodfellow Family Cellars Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley '16

You've seen Goodfellow on our newsletters before, but that's because we simply can't get enough of these amazing wines. Through Marcus's methodology of letting the grapes take the lead in his winemaking, you're always left with a wine that has a true expression of terroir. This means a wine that has balance, elegance and character. The 2016 Willamette Valley Pinot is comprised of grapes from their Whistling Ridge, Durant and Fir Crest vineyards. As with most of their cuveés, they use a good portion of whole clusters (45%) during fermentation, where they only use native yeasts. The wine is beautifully perfumed with notes of tart cherry, blood orange peel and zesty spice.
